Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great long weekend! As you may or may not know, last week, the museum launched its new podcast, Pigeon Post, and we aired our first episode on our radio station, 92.3 FM CICQ Tourism Radio, and we made it available online right here on our blog. Well, this week, we've got another episode for you, and you can find it right here, or by tuning into 92.3 FM at 4pm every Tuesday.
Last week we talked a bit about Lynn McShane and her grandfather, Tom Kane, who was a rescuer from Renews on the night of the wreck of the Florizel, and we heard a recreated interview done by Lynn and her uncle, Eugene, as the voice of her grandfather. It was so nice to be able to share that story with you, and through such a vivid and candid interview.
This week on Pigeon Post, we've got another interview, and this one was done by Dale Jarvis. Dale led a workshop here at the museum at the beginning of June and as a part of his demonstration, he interviewed Dave Lythgoe, a member of the board here at Admiralty House. The workshop was a blast and so was hearing all of Dave's stories, so please tune in via the link below or on 92.3 FM and enjoy Pigeon Post Episode 2!
See you later!
Lauren
