Introducing the "Answers From The Archives" Series.

Introducing the

"Answers From The Archives" Series.

Here at Admiralty House Communications Museum, we were so inspired by Them Days #MysteryMonday posts on Facebook (here) that we decided to dive into our own archives.

Admiralty House has a vast collection of historical artifacts and photographs. Inside our archives, we have a wealth of knowledge available to us. Many photos in our archive depict people and places we can be certain of down to the very last detail. However, with some photographs, some of the specific details have been lost to time. We thought what a better way to try and expand on our own research than to present these photos to the public.

Over the next year, we will present a small selection of photographs that we are looking to know more details about. Perhaps you know someone in the photos? Perhaps the photo is taken in an area you are particularly familiar with? Any identifying information out there, we want to know. You are welcome to circulate these photos, tag people you think might know more, etc. This province's history is so vast and full of stories. It is our job to examine these stories and make sure they endure for future generations.

We would like to offer an additional thank you to our various donators that have enriched our archives over the years.

Next week we will be posting the first photo in the series. We look forward to sharing these stories with you.

Sincerely,

The Admiralty House Communications Museum Staff
