Preserve Your Past: A New Admiralty House Service

Admiralty House Communications Museum is excited to launch its newest service, Preserve Your Past, a photograph and document digitization program.

 

Do you have boxes of family photographs hiding around your home? Have you wondered how to keep these treasured memories safe for generations to come? Creating a digital copy of your images allows you to have peace of mind and the ability to display and share your family history with ease. 

 

Admiralty House will scan your images at 600dpi resolution and can accommodate documents and still images with dimensions up to 8.5 inches by 11 inches. USB Flash Drives provide safe, portable storage for your digitized materials.

 

The Process:

1. Place an order request online
2. Contactless pick-up
3. Items quarantined for 72 hours
4. Items scanned at 600dpi on a flat-bed scanner
5. Invoice delivered and payment made
6. Contactless delivery of original materials and USB Flash drive containing digital materials

 

Pricing:

25 - 99 images: $35

100 - 249 images: $75

350 - 499 images: $150

500 - 749 images: $225

750 - 999 images: $300

1000+ images: $0.30 per image

USB Flash Drive: $8 - $20 (depending on the size required)

Delivery: $0-$15 (varies by location)

Album Handling Fee: $15 (this fee applies if materials are submitted in albums)
